At Tassi Vending, our micro market and vending services create a more productive work place by providing employees with the convenience of nutritious food right in the break room. This holiday season, spread Christmas cheer throughout the workplace with a festive office party! Follow these tips for a party that will make your employees excited to begin the new year with your company.
- Decorations. No need to get elaborate here, but a few simple holiday decorations will go a long way. Place a few poinsettias around the office, set up a mini-Christmas tree, hang some festive garlands. Your employees are sure to smile and feel excited to be at work with some fun décor!
- Games. Plan to have some type of activity during the party that encourages team bonding and creates memories between co-workers. A white elephant gift exchange, Christmas karaoke, Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity, or Secret Santa are all simple and fun games to play during a company party.
- Food. What’s a party without treats? There are plenty of holiday sweets you could pick up for the office, but offering employees more hearty choices will bring the party up a notch. Appetizers and small bites are great to keep people from leaving to get food, or have the event catered if it will last longer than a few hours.
- Timing. No one wants to wait until 5:00 p.m. for the party to start, especially if it’s on a Friday! Give your employees a break and get the celebration started early, maybe around 4:00 p.m. You don’t want exhausted, grumpy party-goers. If everything is going well, take the party to a restaurant or bar later in the evening, or keep it going at the office until the food/drinks run out!
